Congratulations to Attorney Tristan R. Pettit, who was recently elected to a fourth consecutive term as President of the Apartment Association of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. (AASEW). Tristan recently spoke at the Eastside Landlord “Think Small” forum on the topics of causes for eviction, notices terminating tenancy and issues relating to dealing with tenant roommates. On Saturday, February 25, 2012, Tristan will be pre- senting an all-day seminar entitled “Landlord Boot Camp: Everything You Need to Know about Residential Landlord Tenant Law in Wisconsin” for the AASEW. And on May 2, 2012, Tristan will be a co-presenter at Sterling Education Seminar’s annual seminar on Landlord Tenant Law in Wisconsin.
On November 22, 2011, Attorney Laura J. Petrie spoke on Estate Planning at a UWM School of Continuing Education course entitled “Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement – Classroom Instruction on Money Management” sponsored by The WE Group at Robert W. Baird & Co., Inc. Laura will also be a co-presenter at a National Business Institute seminar entitled “Navigating the Trust Process from Start to Finish” in Milwau- kee on June 6, 2012.
On December 13, 2011, Lindsey King spoke to a group of Internal Medicine Resident Physicians on the topic of Understanding and Reviewing Medical Contracts, as these residents will be presented with such contracts upon completion of their Residency Training. Lindsey will be speaking to residents as the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Department of Psychiatry on January 18, 2012, and to residents at St. Luke’s Department of Family Medicine on February 29, 2012 on the same topic.
